Outlook:  A McDonald’s All-American nominee, Ward has big expectations for his senior campaign.  Leading the team to a 20 win season, a conference and district title are the ultimate goal for Ward who is closing in on 1,000 career points.

2008-09 - Junior Season

Hunter Ward his junior year was the leading point scorer for the Pioneers with 416 points on the season. He averaged 14.3 point a game. Ward also led the team in field goals having 147 on the season. On defense he was the second highest rebounding leader with 129 rebounds averaging 4.4 a game.

Ward earned First Team Suburban West all-conference for his efforts during the junior season.  A member of the St. Louis Eagles Ward spent the spring and summer competing against the top players in the nation on the AAU circuit.  Ward was named to the All-tournament team at the Sabes Invitational in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

2007-2008 Sophomore Season

Ward’s junior year he scored 195 points on the season averaging 7.8  per game. On defense Ward 54 rebounds on the year averaging 2.2  a year.

Ward earned the championship of the three point shooting contest at the National Bank/Webster Classic.
