Kirkwood Pioneer Basketball
The proud tradition started by Denver Miller who coached for 43 years at Kirkwood, earning 790 victories and induction into the Missouri Basketball Hall of Fame. The Pioneers moved into the varsity gym in the 2008-2009 season.
The gym was filled to capacity during the 2009 district tournament in which the Pioneers defeated Vianney to earn the title.
For many years the Pioneers played in the Denver Miller Gym.
